At the end of the year, while planning ahead for 2026, we also take a moment to sit back and analyse what happened in 2025, and what we can learn from it. Here are some of the most useful insights:

Global event highlights
2025 brought strong activity across all ONE Event destinations. Clients selected a wide variety of cities for meetings, incentives, conferences, and corporate gatherings.
The three most popular destinations in 2025 by volume were
- the Netherlands & Belgium,
- Spain,
- the Czech Republic.

Demand remained healthy across our entire global network with an increasing interest in South America, showing that clients are exploring a wide range of locations for their programs.
What our clients looked for
Across our destinations, the same priorities appeared consistently in briefs and planning discussions:

- Sustainable and responsible choices
- Smooth logistics and short transfers

These preferences appeared across all markets, confirming that every destination can stand out when the program design supports it.

One major trend we observed in 2025 is the shift toward transformational business travel, a direction that is redefining how companies approach meetings and incentives.
As a DMC working across diverse destinations, we see that M.I.C.E. travel is moving beyond traditional agendas toward experiences that genuinely change how people connect, collaborate, and innovate.
Business travel ischanging. It is no longer only about meetings; it is about moments that inspire, engage, and spark fresh ideas.

Our clients seek programs that allow teams to:

A major milestone in 2025 was the expansion of ONE Event Asia, with China officially added as a new destination. With this expansion, we’re now part of one of the world’s most culturally rich and forward-thinking M.I.C.E. destinations.
